“ This branch of SameSame is the only kosher branch in the chain. The menu is the same as all the other branches, but the ingredients are sourced from kosher suppliers, and the food is prepared under kosher supervision. The dishes offered are standard for an Israeli Asian restaurant, from various cuisines and adapted for Israeli palates. The prices are perhaps a bit lower than at similar places. The food we ate was tasty and not spicy. I saw only one dish labelled spicy on the menu - comforting for some people, disappointing for others. We had the Crispy Roll and the Tempura Chicken with rice. I would recommend both. The service was friendly. The new owner, Chen, greets every diner personally. My major criticism is that we had to flag down a server to ask for wasabi, soy sauce and the other condiments that are usually provided automatically in Asian restaurants. When they came, the small dipping containers were plastic throwaways intended for takeaway service. This is a nice restaurant, with no pretentions, serving good food at moderate prices. ”
